Planned Giving
Through effective planned giving, you can balance your personal financial goals and your charitable interests while possibly realizing significant tax benefits. A planned gift to Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, Inc. ensures that your support will help us continue our mission to address the needs of the homeless in our community and to serve as a catalyst for community collaboration to end homelessness. A bequest is one of the most meaningful legacies you can leave with a lasting impact.
Bequest options to consider:

Wish your dollar could go farther? It can! Turn your $100 donation into $200 without any additional money from your wallet by participating in a matching gift program. Many area companies, both small and large, will match donations through employee charitable giving.

2009 Year-End Charitable Gift Ideas
Make a year-end gift by December 31, 2009 to the Coalition and obtain a 2009 charitable deduction.
Gifts of Cash: Lower your 2009 income taxes merely by writing us a check and postmarking your envelope by December 31st, 2009.
Be sure to check to see if your company has a matching gift program.
Gifts of Stock: Contributing stock is often more tax-wise than cash. You will receive a tax deduction for its fair-market value on the date of the gift.
Matching gifts program: One of the smartest ways to give is through a matching gift program, where a company or individual will match donations to charitable organizations. These matches are often dollar for dollar, which doubles your charitable-donation power!
