Servers are needed Monday through Friday at our Men’s Service Center during lunchtime. We also need Dining Room Assistants at dinner time to assist with greeting residents and pitching in wherever help is needed.
Help us sort and organize donations at our main campus. During the holidays, the need is even greater.
Assist in our daycare, or help lead kids activities such as arts and crafts, game nights, and movie nights.
We are always in need of individuals who can work alongside our maintenance staff and assist with basic tasks to keep our facilities in working order. We can also benefit from those willing to offer professional services including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or equipment repair.
For those who prefer office operations, there is always a need for organized people to help with filing and data entry. This position is perfect for people who enjoy the office environment and/or wish to gain more office experience.
We rely exclusively on donations to supply our men, women, and children with the items that will make their stay with us as comfortable as possible. Organize a supply drive with your coworkers, classmates, religious group, or civic organization. View our Immediate Needs List.
The Coalition offers computer access to residents who are applying for jobs or working on a resume. Can you help? You must have basic computer skills to help clients save files, conduct a web search, fill out applications online and create Word documents.
Volunteers help staff our Operations (OPS) Desk, the nerve center of the shelter, at the Center for Women and Families and Men’s Service Center. Residents visit the desk often to obtain hygiene items, retrieve cleaning supplies, make copies, and more. At the Women’s Residential and Counseling Center, Resident Assistant volunteers help with various tasks.
